It’s been awhile so I thought I’d put my deep space skills to the test. This is a single image of the Trifid nebula (M20 upper left blue and red) the Lagoon nebula (M8 upper middle reddish pink) and the Cats Paw nebula directly below the Lagoon nebula. Shot with my Takahashi FSQ106 and a SBIG STL11000. Lots of Ha in this one not much in LRGB. This is part of a 4 image mosaic I’m working on. I love the density of the stars in the lower right. Pretty amazing. Posted at full resolution so you can see them all!
